EURA conference on 3-6 July 2013 in Enschede More information and registrationThe Institute for Innovation and Governance Studies of the University of Twente will host a EURA Conference with the theme "Cities as seedbeds for innovation" in Enschede. The theme of this conference is at the heart of the mission of our university and its Institute for Innovation and Governance Studies (IGS). Therefore we are very pleased that IGS and our School of Management and Governance were entrusted with the organization of EURA’s Annual Conference for 2013.Topics Topics include:

On the 4th of July the renewed square at Trainstation Kennispark Drienerlo will be re-opened officially by alderman Van Hees during the Kennispark Jazzlunch. Between 12.00 and 14.00 all employees from innovative companies at Kennispark Twente are invited to the square to meet each other and have a free lunch in an informal setting. The lunch is intended for networking, meeting students and neighbors and for sharing ideas. The university Bigband Stubiba will play a jazzy tune during the lunch. The lunch is organized by ASV Taste and Kennispark Twente.Join us for lunch and meet your neighbors, students and see the re-opened square!Programme The lunch will take place from 12.00 - 14.00 at the renewed square near the trainstation. Lunch is free of charge and there is no need to register beforehand. The official opening of the square will be done by alderman Marijke van Hees at 13.00.Renewed square The square was renewed for three main reasons:
- To develop 40.000 m2 for business lots for innovative companies around the station and the Capitool
- To improve the accessibility of the area for cars, trains, cyclists and hikers
- To give an impulse to the quality of the square and the image of Kennispark as innovation campus
