Our profile

Kennispark Twente is a young and entrepreneurial organisation dedicated to facilitating high tech entrepreneurship and innovation in the region of Twente, to improve the economic importance of the region of Twente in the world.

To do this, we build on the experience and history of the entrepreneurial University of Twente and we are linked to the University of Twente.

Together with our partners we connect, optimize and complete the facilities for high tech entrepreneurs. This includes creating an inspiring business location, the conditions for successful entrepreneurship and disclosing top-level knowledge to businesses. We identify the needs of innovative and young entrepreneurs, think along with them and link initiatives.

We believe in the strength of (young) entrepreneurs to contribute to the future of Twente, the Netherlands and the world.

Our history

Kennispark Twente exists since 2006 and is an initiative of the University of Twente, the city of Enschede (on behalf of the Netwerkstad Twente) and the Province of Overijssel. Together these parties aim to create 10.000 new, high-end jobs through Kennispark Twente, for the region of Twente.
