Are you looking to accelerate your innovation project? Sharing knowledge and resources can be an answer. Twente is a region with a dense network of collaborating companies, including several platforms and consortia on specific topics.
Pioneering is the platform within the construction sector in Twente. The platform initiates, develops and supports initiatives that enable innovation within construction. Innovation for them includes the development and use of new technologies, products, processes during building and applications in new markets. Over 100 companies have joined the platform.
Materials form the basis of new products, and different materials offer different possibilities. To the Innovative Materials Platform Twente material selection is a crucial step in the process of designing a product. The platform is a partnership between Saxion (Design & Technology), the Industrial Design Center and BioMimicryNL. The platform collects and disseminates knowledge about innovative, and/or underused materials. The aim of the platform is to transfer knowledge about materials from research institutes to companies to stimulate innovation.
The RMCenter is a platform for business, knowledge and innovation regarding rapid manufacturing or 3D printing. Within the platform research institutes, knowledge institutes, organisations and companies share knowledge.

Tire Road Consortium
The Tire Road Consortiums mission is to improve the safety and sustainability of tire and road, and to improve livability due to tire-road interaction through an integral approach. Within the consortium universities, industries (raw materials suppliers, road construction companies, tire manufacturers) and the (local) authorities participate for this reason.
Fieldlab for Client Centered Care
Field lab for Client Centered Care brings together researchers, companies, institutes, care providers and policy makers that engage in solutions in healthcare and well-being. Its goal is to support the uptake of new business possibilities (valorization), and our results aimed at include at least 10 concrete business cases for concrete products and services. In setting up these business cases, an uniform approach will be used and valorization will be done in real life health situations / living lab. The final targeted aim is to push innovative health solutions one step further to commercialization and market uptake.
